MOONTRIKE

Spotted recently in the NHRA Motorsports Museum in Pomona, California, was this trike built by Dean Moon of the legendary Mooneyes. It uses a Suzuki TS250 engine (the US Suzuki Motor Corporation were involved in the project) mated to a genuine Chinese rickshaw. The Moontrike was used primarily at race meets to promote Mooneyes and has remained untouched since Dean Moon died in 1987 although plans are afoot to restore it.
