IRISH MOTORBIKE SHOW
With only weeks to go until the Carole Nash Irish Motorbike & Scooter Show in Dublin, there’s still time to enter your custom motorcycle – whether that’s a chop, streetfighter, classic or even a scooter – into Ireland’s finest event. The organisers of Ireland’s affiliate round of the AMD World Championship of Custom Bike Building have just announced that the owner of the machine crowned this year’s Irish Custom Bike Building Champion will not only receive free entry to the AMD finals at the Essen Big Bike Europe show and a munificent 1000 euro voucher for products from Zodiac, but an amazing 3000 euros in hard, ready, lovely cash.
The second placed bike in the AMD category will receive Zodiac parts to the value of 500 euro, while the third bike will win a unique helmet custom paint job by 2011 Irish AMD Custom Bike Champion, Ger Conlon of C&C Choppers.
‘Ah,’ you might think, ‘That’s for the Irish Champion and I’m British/French/Croatian/Grey Squirrel, etc (delete where applicable)…’ But the good news is that the winner of the International AMD category, which is open to all nationalities, will also win the Zodiac and Essen prizes and – yes – a splendid 3000 euros as well (and the second and third prizes will also apply to the International victors), making the Irish Motorbike Show one of the most generous events we’ve seen in a while, as well as among the few to offer both AMD domestic and international prizes.
